Former Office Building of British Asiatic Petroleum Company
The Asiatic Petroleum Company’s office building, built in the early twentieth century, is a two-storey Colonial arcade building with Victorian Gothic arch style windows in the front elevation.  Divided by a stone strip, the entire arch over the window looks like a night owl with wide open eyes, hence the locals’ nickname “Owl Building”. It served as the office of British Asiatic Petroleum Company until the war against Japan.
